Mend Vauxhall Radio Car Display

Vauxhall corsa radio shows PANEL but does not work?

One moment it was working then when I restarted the car the radio display only shows date and temp. and the word PANEL. As this is a fixed radio this makes no sense. I have checked the fuses under the bonnet and they are all fine. Please can anyone help?

Followed Big Als instruction to disconnect and then reconnect the negative terminal on the battery,,turn the ignition on then turn off the radio and turn on again whilst holding tha AS button down. After the beep the code could be entered on the preset buttons from 1 to 4 and then press AS again and after a beep all was good to go.
Thanks big Al.

Just sorted the same problem out on my daughter's car. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery,l then reconnect, turn ignition on,turn radio off, turn radio back on whilst holding the AS button in, enter your code using station buttons 1 to 4, hold AS button in until beep and Bob's your uncle.

After a long hunt on the internet found a solution:

turn on the ignition
press and hold down the AS button whilst turning on the radio until you hear a beep
enter the code
press and hold down the AS button until you hear another beep

mite be the fuse on the rear of the stereo which means taking it out, make sure you have the radio code.
