Removal and Installation

Removal

Remove the front door trim panel.

Disconnect the mirror electrical connector.

Remove the mirror glass.
Detach the clips from the rear of the mirror glass.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the exterior mirror cover.
Detach the clips from inside the mirror head.
Remove the cover.

Remove the mirror retaining screws.

CAUTION:Take extra care not to damage the seal.

Remove the mirror.

Installation

CAUTIONS:

Make sure that the cable cannot be damaged or cause a noise, vibration or harshness (NVH) concern.

Make sure that the seal remains correctly located.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
