Mend Pictures Friend Allow

Photo's in emails?

I want to send pictures to a friend in Newzealand and they have a virus blocker that won't allow attachments to be opened and they don't want to alter it.
Q: How can I insert a photo into an email direct and not as an attachment. Some I've received were as attachments but already open in the email.
I'm as 'green as grass' where computers are concerned.

It's not you sending them wrong it's the other end - the firewall is not allowing any pictures period (within a word document or not).

Can your friend see photo's on the internet - if so you could upload your pictures here, and your friend can view them.

photobucket.com

I can't be more specific as to how this web site works but I've had good reports

Tried it 4 times and text appeared but no picture.

As I am fairly new to emailing and computers my photos are in a folder named 'My pictures' is this what is know as a 'application'? because if it is I tried it and that don't work either. Oh! Photo's are Jpeg.
I've tried copying direct from Photoshop into word file then on to email and still end up text only showing.

Thanks to both for your suggestions.

Could try this...

Make a word document with your mail text.

Copy the picture you wish to send and insert it into the word document using paste or Ctl V.

Then size the picture as required.

Then create your mail with no text.

Use Ctl A to select everything in your word doc and Ctl C to copy it.

Then back to your empty mail and use Ctl V to drop text with picture as body of message.

Tips - When creating word doc do not put picture in first - have at least a couple of lines at the top. To size the picture click on it and drag a corner inwards or outwards as required.

Try cutting the photo from an application and pasting it into your email.
