heater not working on 1999 rover 216i?

thaqnx for your reply,,today we went out in car and went over a grate and the fan/blowers came on then off again,checked wiring and looks ok..any more help would be greatful..many thanx julie.xx

Hi Julie have you checked the fuse for the heater fan if thats ok it could be the reostat on the blower or the fan motor may need changing,if it just stopped suddenly it is probably the fuse,the other thing it could be is if your car has a pollen filter and that is blocked it will cut the fan out
