My bosch dishwasher SHU5306 displays 2H when I press the start button without setting the delay time. Does not display amount of time of cycle, so it starts when start button is pushed and then runs again because of the 2H delay.
This is a common problem with Bosch dishwashers. It is the control board. We have had to replace two in the last two years. First one is under warranty and cost $100 for tech time. The next is $250 because its out of warranty. We called Bosch and they wont admit its a design flaw. But they did offer a 25% discount on the control unit. The last tech admitted its very common and said its a design flaw. If you fix it yourself make absolutely sure the power is disconnected to the machine. Other than that, its easy to see the burnt pad on the circuit board and replace.

You more than likely have an issue with the electronic control. Eventually the D/W will count down to 19 or 18 and stay there for about 45 mins. then down to 1 where it will stay. This is caused by a burnt relay in the center of the control. The only cure is to replace the control unit, best done by a professional.
