How do I get my Fiat Punto to start again?

I have a Fiat Punto 1900 JTD HLX, W Reg, 2000. Took it on a 75 mile round trip. Had no problems in the four months I've owned it. Went back out to the car after it had stood for a couple of hours and it won't start. Lights all come on on dash and go off again but upon turning the key there is nothing. Tried checking all fuses and obvious things but to no avail. Can anyone help?

I got same trouble, been told its the clutch thats jammin with the plate so its blocked the engine apparently!! Hoping to change my clutch 2moro so can let u know.
