a symbol has appeared on my renault clio dashboard, what is it?

Both spanner and water dripping into a bowl means a service is due .....mine is a 57 Clio.

I've a 58 plate renault clio and a symbol has appeared on my dashboard and I can't find out what it means. I started my car and it came up saying oil ok as normal and then this symbol which looks like a square without the line across the top with like a rain drop going into it. I don't know what to do.

my car starts of normally then after a while i light comes on with a coil or spring like picture with a zigzag line like a life line on top my car is a Renualt Clio what does this symbol mean. Once this light is on the car slows down and looses power

I have just had the same error on my car a 56 plate clio and it's just done around 13800 miles, and the woman in the renault store when i took it in said that it meant service due and also that the washer bottle was running low. I know it's not the washer bottle as there's plenty of water in there so perhaps it is just that the service is due. I'm taking it to another garage just to get their opinion on the message.

If the "spanner" has also appeared, then it means the annual service is due. The same thing happened to me and I even called the AA out who also did not know what it meant"" I checked with Renault Head Office and they told me the spanner plus the square minus top line with a drip hanging over it meant "service due".

Check your water level and maybe your washer bottle.
