How can I fix my Photo copier Canon 6028 F133400 LCD comes on blank?

My photo copier comes on and off without stopping. The LCD comes on and off blank please help

Rob Again. Just one thing you could try. switch on and hold the power switch in the on position so it is not able to switch off. If it comes on and displays an error code of E004 then it is one of the lamps in the fuser. Let go of the switch as soon as see the code so to avoid any damage. If it displays any other code post another message.

If it comes on and goes straight off it could be a problem with the fuser lamp blown. There are two in the top roller one could be open.

there is a small knob inside the front door which is the screen brightness. Just check it is not turned right down. If not that it may need a new display.
