You will find that the agitator is spinning in the centre and wrapping the clothes in to a ball on one side. When it spins the whole stainless bowl and the agitator should spin together. There will be a problem with either the brake release or the clutch spring. Call someone out to fix it. Not an easy fix for DIY.
