1999 ford transit van has go into limp mode been like this over a yr i always seem to do something to fix im pretty sure its throttle body is the prob since i had it seems hard to start like battery is low but i know its starter now sometimes i have to tap started then it will start can this also corse limp mode to activate?
the diesel pump leaks but not always limp mode hasnt been a problem for ages tends to happen if i put the accelerater down too fast is there an easy way to disconnet limp mode till i can repair?
If you have to tap the starter motor to get it to start,
replace the starter motor."fix the obvious".
No it would not cause the vehicle to go into limp mode.
