how do you check auto transmission fluid on a renault megane?

Early (AD4) Level bung in pan. Later (DPO) Level bung under box 19 mm or later has square bung. In all cases check warm idling level ground. If its picking up Forward and Reverse perfectly from cold and no sign of a leak its probably OK.
