How to fix a sharp ER-A330 frozen cash register?

my cash register is in calculation mode how do I get out of this mode

Have you found the problem with your cash register as I have the same problem. If yours is fixed, how did you do it? Mine is still dead no response. Not even a light that comes up or nothing. Please email me and if I get the answer I can always email you again. howardgib at g m a I l dot c o m

They are a great machine and give very few problems.
The most common reason for error on these registers is when someone presses the cashier button and logs themselves out of the machine.
If you can get numbers on the display when typing a price, but you hear the error beep when pressing a department, then this is usually the cause.
in REG mode, press CLEAR then 1 then CASH# (top right corner button)
This will sign on cashier#1
If you cannot even see any numbers on the display when typing them on the numeric pad, you probably need a new membrane in the keyboard.
If you have an amount on the display, but can't start a new sale, you may have under-tendered. Press ST (SUBTOTAL), then type the amount on the display, then TL (CASH).
If it is not one of those problems, then ask a new question to let me know.
