Renault Megane boot won't unlock?

ever since i got a friend to jump start my car with jump leads and he put them on wrong the boot wont open any ideas please?

it could be the uch box goes under the dash board

Oh nearly forgot to open your boot door, there is a white (maybe a diffrent colour on yours) moving bit on the lock its self on the inside of the car if you slide it, it will open this unlocks it but when you next close it its locked again.

the lock on my megane 2006 model (salloon) has failed aswell i have taken it to garages and looked on the internet, it needs a new lock, and it is a very common problem in the meganes for 2003 to 2008 so basicley the shape style year sort of thing as mines and yours.
