Vauxhall Vectra interior light fault?

Hay Hughes did you get yours light fixed? how? I have the same problem

I have a 2006 Vectra 1.8 petrol and there is no description for courtesy lights in relation to fuses. Vaux dealer fixed it for me and tell me it was fuse 12 in the fuse panel at the nearside end of the dash, accessed when the front passenger door is open.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately my Vectra does not have door switches, the interior light is operated from the door catch. This seems OK as when a door is opened I ger a warning on the dash. instrument panel.

Open the door and move the switch on the lamp to make sure it is in the right position first,then check the switch in the door pillar,they get dirty quick causing this problem,they are usually only held in by one self tapping screw and you get a bad earth.Not much else goes wrong with them.
