What does this Samsung Refrigerator Error Code mean?
I have a Samsung RF265ABBP. It is in my garage. It has been working fine for several years. This last week it has been very cold in the garage and the temperature displays are reading 88 in the freezer and flashing between 88 and 8Y in the refrigerator. They are both still very cold. The refrigerator is reading about 34 degrees right now with a thermometer. The freezer is well below 0. If I knew what the error code meant, maybe I would have some idea what it would take to fix this. Where are the codes?
As someone else said, many times you figure it out before you get an answer. The connector in the freezer above the icemaker was disconnected. We don't use the icemaker and it got pulled loose by putting too much in the freezer. Still, if someone can give a good source for error codes, that would be great.
