taking up free play on hand brake ford mondeo yreg saloon?
I have fitted new rear disks, pads, h/b cables, manual adjust h/b lever. I have adjusted the cables three times now to get a hand brake and am running out of thread.
Is there some adjustment on the actual calliper somewhere that I am missing??
Thanks alot.

slacken the cable adjustment so that the small arms on the caliper(the ones that the cables attach to)are in the fully off position as far as they will go.now drive the car for a few miles & brake frequently, this will allow the pistons in the calipers to re-adjust themselves. now adjust the cable if it needs it,but make sure the small arms are fully returned to their off position when the hand brake is off, otherwise it won't re-adjust itself in future.
