WHEN I TURN ON THE TV, THE SCREEN IS RED WITH LINES GOING ACROSS. YOU CAN SEE THE PICTURE BEHIND THE RED SCREEN WITH LINES, BUT THE PICTURE FADES AFTER A FEW SECONDS, LEAVING JUST THE RED SCREEN WITH THE LINES. THE TV THEN SHUTS DOWN A FEW SECONDS AFTER THE PICTURE BEHIND THE RED SCREEN WITH LINES FADES. THE POWER IS STILL ON, BUT THE PICTURE TUBE IS SHUT DOWN. I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON OFF THEN ON AGAIN, BUT THE PICTURE TUBE WON'T DELIVER. THE ONLY WAY IT WILL TURN BACK ON AGAIN IS IF I UNPLUG THE TV AND PLUG IT IN AGAIN.
