How can I fix my Crosley "Heavy Duty, Super Capacity Plus" washing machine?
How can I fix my Crosley "Heavy Duty, Super Capacity Plus" top loading washing machine that will not spin? It gets off balance a lot, and this time when I adjusted the load, moved it back against the wall and tried to restart the machine, it will not start spinning again. The tub seems to be dislodged or loose or something, I can hear the motor going, and it will still fill up with water, but will not agitate or spin anymore. Any idea what could be causing this? Is this something I can fix myself?

When that has happened we replaced the belt. The first time our local repair guy, which we bought it from new, just went down to the auto parts store and purchased another belt. The next time we got it ourselves. Our washer is about 10 1/2 yrs. old now. Just be sure to account for the old belt being a little stretched out when you size it up for the new belt. It got us up and running anyhow. Good luck!
