Mend Lincoln 30day Replaced Clock Wall

Replaced a suspension spring why doesn't the clock work?

I have replaced the suspension spring in my Lincoln 30day wall clock, it swings for about 1 min then stops. The sound is not right it use to make quite aloud tick.
