Hi Amanda, We had the same problem with Samsung. Having called out an engineer twice all they did was to strip it down and use a air dryer on it, still had the same problem. We called one out again to discover there had been a mod done on the back inside panel of the fridge.The ice had been forming against the fan hence the noise each time the door was shut. They changed the panel at no charge to us . No pob since.

there is a fan in the back possibly that is catching by the sound of it.One easy thing you can do is defrost it for 24hrs with both doors left open and then restart it and see if the noise goes away as it might be because ice has built up somewhere in the back!
