cub cadet 2550 will only run for 15 minutes before shutting off?

cadet 2550 will only run for 15 minutes before shutting off. Replaced the battery, start right up runs for awhile then shuts off. When engine is cold it will start up and do same thing. Strange thing is neighbor near by has 3000 series and he has the same issues....we need help
