vauxhall vectra warning light problem?

My 04vectra has an orange bulb light on my dashboard..when my main light are on the indicator light on the passenger side comes on till i tap the fitting then goes off n my main light comes on.all bulbs are new??

bulb warning lights often come on when the bulb is wearing but not blown. I agree, non vauxhall bulbs dont last! It could also be a short circuit as I have found out with my indicator light being constantly on and the bulb warning light on the dashboard this week. Seems to come on and off when I touch the air filter region but cannot see where the fault is. Anyone got any ideas?

you have a light out (bulb gone / wire problem.. if you cant see any light out also check numoer plate lights if no joy might be a loose wire

Hi Fraser i have a vauxhall & the same thing happened to me. If you switch your engine off for a few minutes the spanner symbol light should go off. It is apparently a common fault with vauxhall.

This tells you that one or more of your light bulbs have burnt out. Check all lights inside and out and replace the fawlty one, it will only take a couple of minutes. If you can't do it yourself Halfords will do it for a small charge.
