Roma 100 Leisure Cooker blowing fuses?

Hi, we have an 18 month old Leisure range cooker (Roma 100 dual fuel) and it keeps blowing fuses. Leisure will only send engineers out at a cost of £93+ because it's just outside of warranty which I find so frustrating as it's still quite new. There must be a fairly simple answer to this mustn't there? Does anyone have an answer please? Many thanks.

If the main oven and the light are out but the other oven works it is a good chance the inline thermostatic fuse this can be found at the rear behind the metal panels it is inside the plastic heat shrink cable cover on the brown wire.
Make sure you know what voltage is supplied through fuse and fit the correct one
POINT OF NOTE DO NOT SOLDER TO THE WIRE IT MUST BE CRIMPED AND BEFORE HANDLING MAKE SUR POWER SUPPLY IS OFF

If more than one thing goes off e.g. grill and fan assisted oven OR the normal oven, sparker and warm plate there are THERMAL CUT OFF FUSES. It seems there is one for each side.

They are located at the back. It requires the centre metal strip to be removed then the large panel. They look like resistors but with no colour bands. You can unscrew them from the holders and replace them. They cost about £2 to £3 pound each. Check the one that comes out and order the same. Looking at the cooker the right hand side has a 152 degree C thermal fuse BUT check it first.

SWITCH OFF COOKER and I WOULD SUGGEST the MAIN SWITCH TO THE WHOLE HOUSE before trying to do anything.

Hi all I've also had a similar problem where the fan oven does not work. Which is the part we use the most.
Everything else does. It sounds like a fuse from what I've seen on here. Any idea where it's located, I'm pulling out the oven to DIY tomorrow so will post up location anyway. But just want to know before hand.

hi all. try ringing them now and explain your original problem. this is a manufacturing fault! the fuse keeps blowing - REASON - they are made in Turkey where the voltage is different (lower I believe). I have just had this problem, thankfully after a number of years of ownership. they have replaced the part with a new thermo cut out. I would challenge them, it seems some people paid out a great deal on repairs!

Same common problem . Main oven not fan-assisted oven just went out when in use along with the oven light. Thought it might be the element-it wasn,t. How do we know it's not the thermostat-would the fan assisted oven then also not be working-it is working. So we came to the conclusion that it must be the thermal fuses -but where are they located and can we buy and replace them ourseves?

we suspect the time clock is causing the pain, we have a customer with the same problem, we can get a new clock at Beko, thats easy, £50 or £60, but we cannot track down the thermal links/fuses. can anyone help?

Thanks Frank.

Tell me about it! Exactly the same thing, but it is the timer that has gone and they tell me that is an additional £175! So tatal cost will be £280+! RIP OFF!
