VAUXHALL CORSA - GRUNDIG CAR 200 RADIO?

Vauxhall Corsa (R Reg.) Grundig Car 200 Radio: The car's battery went flat and it was necessary to start it using jump leads, since then the radio has refused to work. No messages at all are to be seen on the display. I have checked the fuse which is fine. Any ideas on how the radio can be brought back to life?

This was exactly what I was looking for. I figured there must be a fuse (someplace...) but I never would have guessed how to extract the radio from the console of my Opel Corsa (same radio of course) and find the fuse at the back of the radio (great place to put a fuse by-the-way).

I'd add that to remove the radio push in the nails maybe an inch and a half to move the spring clips towards the interior of the radio. Then the whole radio comes out. Don't try to take just the face of the radio off, which is what I first thought...

Thanks!

fuse at back of radio undo 4 screws on radio fascia one in each corner you will then need 4 rods to release locking spring in each corner i used 4 nails but knitting needles or similair will do to release springs simultaneously.remove radio and fuse is at the bottom.worked for me.

Jim, Thank you, excellent advice and it worked. It is pity that none of Vauxhalls booklets that came with the car mention the existence of the fuse at the back of the radio.
