ERR message on GM Delco CD Radio after ejecting CD. Now CD will not work?

How can ERR message be removed and get CD working on GM Delco CD Radio in 2002 Avalanche?

S-10 pickup fuse is in the fuse box inside on the drivers side. Followed instructions & it did the trick. Err gone. Thanks a lot.

I had the same problem, called local Chevy dealer to ask for a remedy and was told that they need to "reprogram" the radio.

Did exactly what you said, removed the radio fuse, re/inserted it.....Perfect, message gone, radio works.

Will call the Chevy dealer and give them hell!

Hey silver62hair,

I have a Chevy Silverado 2500 that has done the same thing. Matter of fact it is doing it right now. You can fix this easily enough by getting under the hood, and in the fuse box on the drivers side fender you'll find a fuse for the radio. Take the fuse out and put it back in (if it is still in good shape). This should make the the err message go away and the buzzing sound that it makes stop.
